The vision of Attentive Adult Day Center is to enable adults & seniors over 18 to maintain their independence and dignity for as long as possible. This is promoted through all services and activities. The purpose of AADC is to offer adults supervised recreation and health-related services during the day. Care in our center is often an alternative to nursing home care, thus allowing a senior to continue to live at home, often providing respite care for a burdened adult, child, or spouse.

All About Us

Attentive Adult Day Center, LLC was established in August of 2018. We are fully licensed by the State of Missouri Department of Health and Human Services. We offer seniors and adult 18+ with supervised recreation and health-related services during the day. Care in our center is often an alternative to nursing home care, thus allowing a loved one to continue to live at home, often providing respite care for a burdened adult child caring for elderly parents, spouse, or otherwise caregiver.

We care for seniors and adults aged 18+ who live at home and may have physical, mobility, mental, or cognitive challenges that need supervised care throughout the day and/or would benefit from socialization with others.

Our philosophy is to enable our participants to maintain their independence and dignity for as long as possible in which it is promoted through all of our services and activities.

Attentive's mission is to provide professional services that bring fulfillment & quality of life while providing a safe, secure and loving environment with goals to serve, care, & attend to the individual needs of each participant including caregiver respite and support.

Our center is open from 7am-6pm Monday through Thursday and 7am - 5pm on Fridays. We provide round-trip transportation of selected mile radius. Our activity programming begins around 9:30am daily. We serve catered meals for breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack. We assist with a range of individualized needs. We honor and respect all of our participants rights.

Attentive Adult Day Center provides unparalleled care. About a year and a half ago my family needed to find daily care for my father who is in the moderate/severe stage of dementia. We had tried a few different options before we found AADC. From our first walk through we have been highly impressed by this program and all the health care specialists that go into providing a safe, healthy and nurturing environment. Days are structured to ensure that clients have the opportunity to stay physically, mentally and socially active. Diet needs are cared for and any medical needs are overseen by the on-site nurse. They have special events for the clients that enrich and uplift. They regularly provide helpful information and have had special speakers on topics related to supporting your loved one. With the progression of my father's illness we have had to make changes to his routine or figure out what makes him most comfortable. The staff has been right there with us through these changes giving suggestions and offering support as they are also invested in his well being and comfort. I can't express how thankful I am for Attentive Adult Day Center and all who work there. They really are the most caring and helpful group of care providers. Their focus on client care, family support and inclusion make this program unique and extraordinary.

Attentive Adult Daycare is One of Gods Blessings for us. My husband has dementia and short term memory loss as well as other health issues. They take excellent care of him which gives me peace of mind to be able to again enjoy some of my own hobbies and time for myself. It’s a win win. My husband loves attending.
